Area of specialisation: “Parish Catechetical Ministry and Evangelisation” (including fundamentals of pedagogy and Christian ethics)
Training programme “Become All Things to All People” (1 Corinthians 9:22)
The programme gives students an opportunity to acquire the necessary knowledge for catechetical and evangelistic ministry. To be a catechist is to testify to one’s faith, to pass it on, helping children, youth, adults, and special church pastoral groups to develop spiritually. In addition, students take an in-depth look at the evangelistic mission of the Church on the example of various communities and movements. They acquire the necessary skills to engage in evangelistic activities.
This programme contains elements of theological education, but also includes a lot of practical courses and seminars (in particular, on pedagogy, psychology and Christian ethics, social issues) aimed at teaching students to implement the knowledge they have gained in their daily lives.
