λογικὴ λατρεία [reasonable service of God – Romans 12:1]

The purpose of the liturgical and music courses is to develop the abilities and competences of persons engaged in liturgical music: both those who do not have a degree in Music and those who have already received it but seek to improve their skills in this area.

The liturgical and music courses are designed to form and guide liturgical prayer animators who serve in a particular community of the local Church to a deep and conscious experience of the saving mysteries present in the liturgy of the Church. Participants of the courses acquire the knowledge and skills, which are necessary to lead in prayer by singing on one’s own, to conduct a choir, and to participate actively and fully in the liturgy of the Church maintaining an appropriate level of performance.

In addition, the liturgical and music courses are aimed at:

  • promoting liturgical culture by distributing arrangements of liturgical works in sheet music version along with recordings
  • organising training courses in liturgical music
  • publishing literature on the theology of liturgy and the theology of music
