Theological studies

We invite everyone who wants to know God with heart and soul, through faith and reason, because we try to combine these paths.

Experts of Catholic theological thought in Ukraine answer questions of whether it is necessary to believe and how one should believe. Our theologians teach students how to search for answers to questions of faith and teaching of the Church within the framework of theological subjects. Lecturers in Theology expand the horizons and perspectives of theological knowledge so that you can find your own way of combining everyday life, work, interests and faith.

A year consists of 8 modules and 2 finals periods. One module includes lectures once a month on Saturday and Sunday, 4 classes each day, which means 8 classes per module. Training takes place both at the Institute of Religious Studies and online. That is, you have a choice of how to participate in the modules. For those who cannot attend the lectures for some reason, lecture recordings are provided.

The tuition fee is UAH 5,000. During the finals periods, you can stay at the monastery’s hotel by prior arrangement.

At the end of the year, a student receives a certificate in theology. In addition, the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas “Angelicum” has agreed to count the hours passed as its credits (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System – ECTS).
